Richard Lalande, 63 ans, est Directeur général adjoint de SFR.

Ingénieur des Télécommunications, Richard LALANDE a commencé sa carrière dans l'Administration où il a passé 10 ans à différents postes à la Direction Générale des Télécommunications, au Secrétariat Général du Comité Interministériel pour les Affaires Economiques Européennes (SGCI) et au Ministère de l'Industrie.

En 1983, il entre dans l'industrie des télécommunications (CGCT).

En 1987, Richard LALANDE rejoint la Compagnie Générale des Eaux (maintenant Vivendi) où il se consacre à la création de la Société Française du Radiotéléphone (SFR) avant d'en devenir Directeur général. En septembre 95, il est chargé du développement des infrastructures fixes de télécommunications et participe à la création de CEGETEL.

Il est Président de l'AFORS Télécom (Association Française des Opérateurs de Réseaux et Services de Télécommunications) depuis mai 2004, Vice Président de l’ECTA (European Competitive Telecommunications Association) depuis janvier 2007, et Président de la Commission Développement Durable de la Fédération Française des Telecoms depuis janvier 2008.

Richard Lalande, 63, is SFR’s Executive Vice President.

A telecoms engineer, Richard Lalande began his career working in the French civil service where he spent 10 years in various posts in the Telecommunications Management Department, the Secretariat General of the Interministerial Committee on European Economic Affairs (SGCI) and the Industry Ministry.

He entered the telecoms industry in 1983 (CGCT).

In 1987, Richard Lalande joined the Compagnie Générale des Eaux (now Vivendi) and devoted himself to establishing the Société Française du Radiotéléphone (SFR) before becoming its CEO. In September 1995, he was asked to develop fixed telecoms infrastructure and helped found CEGETEL.

He has been chairman of AFORS Télécom (Association Française des Opérateurs de Réseaux et Services de Télécommunications) since 2004, Vice President of ECTA (European Competitive Telecommunications Association) since January 2007, and President of the Fédération Française des Telecoms’ sustainable development committee since January 2008.
