SFR and Vodafone reinforce and extend their strategic international partnership
SFR and Vodafone have renewed their strategic international partnership for four additional years, until 2020. This strong collaboration initiated in 2002 combines both groups leadership and expertise to meet the telecommunication needs of MNCs in France and abroad, also reinforcing their position in Europe.
Roaming services part of this new agreement are extended and optimized to fulfill their customer’s expectations both in France and abroad.
This new agreement is extended to the Dominican Republic where the Altice group is present.
The French enterprise market is a key market for Vodafone with significant number of MNCs with regional, national and international HQs.
This strong collaboration between two of the major international groups, the marketing and sales teamwork for many years to fulfill the needs of MNS have undoubtedly enabled a strong and essential alliance on the MNC strategic market and re-assert SFR with more than 190 000 enterprise customers as the Vodafone strategic partner in France.
With this renewal SFR customers will continue to benefit from roaming advantages including very high speed broadband via the 4G network, in France via the SFR network and in countries through Vodafone and its international partners.
This cooperation will be enlarged to the Altice Group subsidiaries (Orange Dominicana et Tricom) in Dominican Republic demonstrating the international dimension of Altice Group, holding of SFR.
Vodafone’s capabilities include mobile operations in 26 countries, of which 20 offer 4G/LTE services, and fixed broadband operations in 17 markets. Vodafone also partners with mobile networks in a further 57 countries worldwide and has IP-VPN reach across 65 countries and 259 PoPs in total.
This will combine with SFR’s capabilities which will cover 90% of the population in 4G in France in 2017 and will connect with fiber 70% of enterprises with more than 20 employees demonstrate the ambition of these two telecommunication key players to become leaders of the high speed broadband.
