SFR Introduces “Carrée Europe” and Includes 4G in All Formules Carrées Subscriptions
On February 11, SFR is launching the Carrée Europe limited series, enabling customers to communicate all year round regardless of where they are in the EU or in France’s overseas départements. This unique offering is also the country’s most complete roaming package, with unlimited voice and SMS/MMS, 3 GB of data and the integrated services available to Formules Carrées subscribers.
In addition, to bring superfast mobile broadband to the greatest number, SFR added 4G to the whole Carrées range and included more data in its mobile call plans. With more than 1 million 4G customers, SFR is expanding its offering and enabling all customers to enjoy the quality of its network and the breadth of its service range.
The Carrée Europe limited series: a single tariff for the whole EU
SFR is France’s first operator to offer an unlimited plan for calls and SMS/MMS with 3 GB of data services/month, usable all year round in every EU country.
With the Carrée Europe limited series, SFR is making a difference in the market by offering customers the first unlimitted mobile tariff for the whole EU. Whether they are in metropolitan France, in one of the French overseas départements (DOM) or in another EU country, they can call and use their 3 GB of data at any time, for as many days as they like, regardless of their location.
They can also use their smartphones to access at any time the wealth of premium content and integrated services of the Formules Carrées: one free “Extra” option, a second SIM card to connect a tablet with Multi-Surf, and 100 GB of secure storage space on the SFR Cloud.
The offer is limited to the first 10,000 customers who sign up, at a monthly cost starting at €59.99.
4G with all call plans
Enabling everyone to experience superfast broadband at affordable prices, SFR is offering its 4G service for as little as €9.99 (SIM only), at no extra charge, to customers with 4G-compatible devices.
SFR’s full range of eight 4G tariffs – from 50 MB to 16 GB – is designed to meet customers’ varying needs.
Even more mobile Internet for existing 4G subscribers
SFR upped the data allowances included in the Formules Carrées 4G packages sold since September 2013: the 3 GB, 5 GB, 7 GB and 9 GB subscriptions have now become 5 GB, 8 GB, 12 GB and 16 GB, respectively.
By bundling these subscriptions with a broad choice of handsets at the lowest prices, premium content (SFR’s “Extras”), Multi-Surf and customer care dedicated to the Carrés services, SFR is once again delivering the most comprehensive service and bringing customers the best of 4G.
With 1,200 cities and towns covered by the 4G network and more than 75% of the population reached by superfast mobile broadband using the Dual Carrier technology, SFR was the first operator in France to launch 4G and a full 4G offering. The operator is actively extending its network to provide the service to all its customers and deliver the best mobile Internet experience.
